NOTICE TO THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP OF THE EVANSTON/NORTH SHORE BRANCH OF THE NAACP #3015
REQUIRED NOTICE
This notice for the current Email list of the branch and eligible members who are members in good standing (currently active or renewing their membership at least 30 days before election) and before the next branch meeting, September 18.
The purpose of the September and October meetings are to submit slate of candidates for the positions of President, 1st Vice-President, 2nd Vice President, 3rd Vice-President Secretary, Assistant Secretary ,Treasurer and Executive Committee at-Large (not to exceed 26 members) and to announce Nominating Committee and Election Supervisory Committee (for results)
Online Voting with "Election Buddy"
Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 10 am to 3 pm. Eligible members will receive a ballot.with the the slate of candidates. One vote for one position (officers and Members-at-Large.).
In addition, to this notice, each Branch shall place the announcements of such meetings and election in one or more local newspaper of general circulation at least ten (10) days before the date of the November election. (Bylaws for Units, Article IX, Section 2[g])
